Bamboo double-pointed cable needles are great for two things, when working cables and when picking up stitches to create the shoulders of a sweater. The bamboo is “stickier” than metal so the needle doesn’t slip out of my stitches as easily. Because of the metal band around the center of the bamboo cable needles, they stick to the Maker’s Keep while not in use and not wind up down the sofa or lost on the floor of an airplane.
